It's good-bye to UCL next seaon

1 point of 9 , this is just not good enough !

Newcastle , with 2 games in hand , and 1 point separate between them , i really don't see The Toon Army throwing the advantage away !

Mathematically , Liverpool stands a slim , very slim chance , if Liverpool make it fourth , it's Newcastle that threw it away , Pool don't win it !

No excuse for not achieving it , we're just not up to it !

A Quote from Jamie Carragher : " There's a certain standard required and we're not meeting it ."

To the lads at Melwood , you did your best ! Try again next season !

GH's comments after the match:

"Feel sorry for the players"

"Deserved to win"

"That is the way it is. We win the rest of the games."

It is time GH feel sorry for himself.

If GH and the present players stay, we no need to look foward to the next season.

It will be the same for the past three season.

And even if Liverpool stays 4th place this season or not, GH will be manager next season. This is not we want.

I am actually quite happy that Liverpool is not fighting for relegation this season with this kind of performance.

seems to me that Liverpool is the WORST penalty taking team Sad

foga SG

frankly speaking, what happen for the remaining games the REDS have no longer makes any dif.

GH still gonna be around next season.....

i jus wanna the league to finish faster and see what would GH do to the liverpool team. from what was reported recently, i guess we would see a floodgate open as many players would be sold....

Poolman SG

Really hope the day will come when Liverpool are fighting for their survival in the Premiership , and those "Houllier's Alliances" will eventually know what football is in the Premiership !

A clear-out of players ? The best is to get those better ones out and keep those the likes of ...Traore ? Biscan ? Diouf ? in....and we will not only play boring football....we will also see another record broken for "win-less" ..... and if my fore-sight is right , we will see Liverpool struggle in the EPL ! Against relegation ! If I am Mick Owen , now is the best time not to extend the contract , I'll chose to go ! Reason is Liverpool is going nowhere under GH ! [/size]

Liverpool is going nowhere under GH , how true !!

Liverpool still stands a chance for UCL!!!!!!!!
Newcastle cock up again!!!!!0-0 with VIlla!!!!!!
Yeah....
Hopefully Newcastle fumbles at Chelsea.. Mr. Green
With their European distraction, they will lose a few more pts..

As for Charlton, they have a tough match against man u..
which man u need to win badly.. So they will lose more pts..

All is not lost....

Poolman SG

Thinking back , when The Gunners thrashed Liverpool , I thought that by winning all the remaining matches , and rivals dropping points , we might just be able to grap the 4th , now it's different......it's not all about others dropping points now , is all about whether are we good enough to win our remaining games !

And by seeing our last three games performance versus Arsenal , Charlton and Fulham , we're just not good enough that's all !

I like to see Liverpool in the UCL next season not because Liverpool is good and they deserve to be in the UCL , I like Pool to get all the revenue they can get from the appearances in the tournament and strengthen the team in all department for their domestic challenge , this is all I wanted !

Now I don't see any how they can make it ! It's good in a way , sooner or later .....GH will be axed !

dont be so pessimistic, poolman. the fight is still on, and apparently, pool has got the advantage. i dont see villa as a serious challenger. mentality is v important in football, and they dont have that. i guess they'll just be another everton (last season's) and ipswich (couple seasons back).

can i use this ? ynwa ....
