Strange enough, Owen is injured at the right time, i.e. before
signing the contract.
He can assess the current "difficult" situation with all the
injuries to the "only" people that know how to put the ball into
the net.
After 4 years of "empty" promise from GH, and the pathetic
performance against Saints last night, Owen have a clear vision of
what the Liverpool team will be doing at the end of this season,
i.e. struggle and slog again for a pitiful 4th place.
You can imagine how he feel when he see Beckham faring well in
Spain.
Would you sign the contract if you are Owen ?
Maybe you will eventually end up like Fowler, get kick out after so
much loyalty to Liverpool.
