Igor Biscan

makeorbreak SG

He's done well standing in for Henchoz. But he should never play in midfield, even in the holding role.

The holding role was ideally for Hamman.Gerrard can play there,so can Diao but never Biscan.Igor shd stay in defence.

Agree?

the Bear SG

i dunno..

i figure a cardboard cutout could do better than he can

dok gong SG

he provides the pace that H&H is lacking. maybe inexperience playing as centre-backs but he can really run pretty fast.

don't know why GH likes to buy good young player than keep them in storeroom. biscan was considered one of the most promising prospect in croatian football when he joined liverpool at i think 21 years of age for a price of 5 million tag. and to think that he only get his big break only this season...what a shame. i believe any good players after not playing first team for so long also will fade away.....look at barmby, redknapp, fowler...bla bla bla

sillyme SG

he's not bad.. but he gives away too many free-kicks.. too many a times he gave free-kicks at the edge of the box, resulting in goals..

but i think (a hunch) he can make it good someday..

makeorbreak SG

Ironically,he was brought in after perfoming well in midfield against Roy Keane in one of the champion's league games.

But,I think he lacks pace when on the ball. That's why I don't think he'll make it in midfield.

Valentin0 SG

i thought what is lacking of him is consistency? one day he'll play really well and got everyone's praises. but he'll flop pretty soon after that.

anyway heard that boumsong is coming from auxerre. havent got the chance to see him yet but he definitely has a gd reputation around (or have i got too many kop friends around?)

makeorbreak SG

Boumsong is speculated to join Liverpool soon, along will Cisse.

I have'nt seen him play. But it is a known fact that despite a young age, he is fringe player in the french national team. That can't be too bad.

If he actually comes and succeeds in England,he could be a new pillar in defence and successor to the aging Henchoz or Hyppia.

dok gong SG

one thing i hate to see in the liverpool squad is a whole bunch of foreign players. The current trend of transfer is really bothering me.

It's ok if GH bring in the really good ones, but he getting in fringe players...and alot of them..sianz.

Båseline SG

GH is really funny sometimes, remember he bought Heskey for 11millions POUNDS from Leicester? Ewwwwwww!

After all that Biscan has tried to adapt to EPL kinda game, I still think he'll do better at another league. His slow on the turn and is unsure in defence.
