Dear fellow Singaporeans,
From 1 May, 2005, Golden Village, Eng Wah, and Lido will be
increasing their ticket prices (AGAIN) from $6.50 to $7.00 and
$8.50 to $9.50! Even with the intervention of the Consumers
Association of Singapore (CASE), the three organizations seem to
have no intention of changing their minds.
I urge all of you, Singaporeans who watch movies (WHO DOESN¡¯T?!),
to sign this petition and pass the link on. We may not be able to
prevent this consumer tragedy from happening, but we must make it
known that there is a limit to our tolerance (and the depth of our
pockets)!
