I stayed in France (namely Paris) for a year before. Didn't like
it.....the French people are ok if you can speak French, but the
noise and pollution, the crime, the claustraphobia of living in a
metropolis......moved on after a year.
Never been to Canada though. Some places should be a quieter
version of France, like Montreal, where anglophones and
francophones mix freely.
