@kaching me! I had my board interview 1.5 weeks ago. still no news though :( getting very anxious here. 2 of my friends got rejected a week after their board!

Had my medical few weeks ago and waiting for news too. Really hoping to get into Feb batch after waiting for close to 8 months. June is so long away.

Kaching: Yes ure right! I was down 2 weeks ago to verify my degree with recruitment and was also infd the next intake is mid/end feb. The upcoming one would be in June. You've not gone for medical right? My guess would be if you pass your panel highly possible ull enter only in June. I might be wrong though. Good luck bro :)

arcelyn: yeah me too! but there might be an attachment before the june intake or so i heard. meaning we'll be going in a little earlier but on attachment to an npc to observe. not too bad either :)

Oops, didn't know I left a big gap after my post.

key22: Like what kingslayer said, no news is good news.. I had a chat with the recruiter and was told that they actually know the interview outcome on the same day as (right after, to be exact) our interviews, so I would expect rejection to be processed early. Why did they torture candidates by taking so long to reject? I have no idea...

arcelyn: what!? they take few weeks to get back even after medical?

kingslayer: yeaap I'm still waiting for news.. Praying hard that I (and all those still waiting) don't get rejected after coming so far... Btw, it's a sis here haha :)

June is like...half a year away. Gosh. Is this arrangement the same as the previous year?

the results are known on the spot?? geez. is there that much back logging that they have to delay so long?

but from what was told to me previously, the nxt intake apart from Feb should be April? Feb to June is such a big gap! :(

kaching: i think the long wait is justifiable given that they have to put you in queue for the next medical appt. medical also requires the individual to go for an indepth blood test where if inconclusive the candidate has to go back for another test before the entire process could be concluded.

Kingslayer: Waiting for the call from Vital too? Similar timeline to me, had my panel in Nov and Medical in Early Jan.

Most of us take at least half a year. So need to be patient since there are always people ahead of you.

it's a mixture of both. loads of questionnaires to do etc. u can check out the 2013 forum, all the details are discussed there.

im also waiting for any email/call to go for SA! applied on 13 jan. abit nerve-wrecking cos my application for CNB is alr declared unsuccessful. and i actually got a call from the spf people one week after my application cos they needed to clarify some details on my application.
