Senior Crime Scene Specialist

Hi all, just wondering if there is anyone working as a senior crime scene specialist/ crime scene specialist? im interested in forensic science and came across this job posting. it mentioned about shift work and all.. which is understandable with the nature of this job. however, im just curious how the working environment is like? would appreciate if anyone could share. thanks alot (:

Hi Icnine, I'm interested in the specifics of being a senior crime scene specialist too. Have you applied or gotten an interview from them?

As far as I know, this position is under the CID FMB, and it's under the specialist scheme (civilian), as opposed to uniformed officers. So that means no training at HTA for specialists? So what are the training and developments opportunities for these specialists? & by "operationally ready at all times" does it mean loosely to be "on-call"?

So many questions... So far no discussion regarding this position. :/
