well recently 2 police officer came to my house informing my mother that she has to remove those bamboo hanging outside the house as it's agains the law. there are 3 holes for us to put our bamboo outside which is not enough, so my mother actually cross another bamboo in between the 3 bamboo, it's not right to do that but why are police officer called in to do such thing? further more they took her IC number....

No picture, but the cloth was hang at the normal place for us to hang cloths no one will walk under there... i don't think it will cause any danger... but it was kinda weird that a police was call in to keep your cloths other block are doing the same thing but only my house was choosen to be "Inform" by the police... I always thought police are those outside responding to more emegency stuff.

It is very typical of thepolice in Singapore to do things which are trivial. They are just showing off they have the power over the people.

I was victimized by them I know how you and your mum feel.

They earn the taxpayers' money and yet bite the hands that feed them just like the PAP who control them.

Serve PAP, they go all the way to put in their effort. Serve the nation, more like they put in effort to scare people by abusing their power.

Call them for public nuisance, they promise to deal with it but nothing is done.

Police in Singapore are nothing but scumbags like PAP.

Technically, when you cross an additional bamboo poles in between the three bamboo poles, the additional bamboo pole has a risk of dropping down as it is not secured in the holes designated for the poles,hence it can be deemed as killer litter,plus if the bamboo pole dropped and injured someone,your mother could be charged.In this case,it does not mean that your mother will have a criminal record when the police officers took down her NRIC number. They are just recording down her particulars as every case or incident the Police responds to,they are to record down everything such as the complainant,victim,witness and suspect's NRIC,name etc for reference. If the police intends to charge your mother,the IO of the case should have contacted your mother,so relax.
