i feel like calling up the recruitment officer. but not sure if i should though. cos i just went for my medical on 30th may. kinda too soon right?

I went for SA in april and medical in early May. Got a call from the recruitment side at the end of May asking me when i can start, to prepare the remaining documents that i have yet to submit and he will notify me soon. Any idea what is the process after this ? When should i submit my documents? What is the possibility of me getting selected into the force? Thanks in advance!

Welcome,I am waiting as my application is undergoing its final processing. For Pokish, take your time as even if you call the Recruitment Officer,he or she is unable to tell you the inside details. They will normally process on what they can and if you have outstanding documents,they will ask you to submit the outstanding documents like your educational certificates/transcripts etc as if you owe them your educational cert (For example,you apply with a Diploma but you are yet to get your cert), they are unable to process it further. Normally if you have went through the medical checkup and they ask you for your outstanding documents,you should be more or less accepted into the Force.For the medical checkup requested by SPF,it is not early to do so as they do have a date if you noticed on the letter.The medical checkup is the final checkpoint for the process.Cheers.

ahhh. hope they will contact me soon. the waiting game is so torturous.

When did you go for your SA? i went on May 13. They take so long to process!! Sad

Anw SGT Tan, am i suppose to submit the remaining documents? The recruitment officer did not mention where and when i am suppose to submit the documents, he just told me that they will notify me soon, but it has been almost two weeks! Any idea what is the process from here on?

anyway, i did not call them to check. Waited for about three weeks before i got a call from the recruitment side asking when i can start and to prepare certain docouments. Haven't heard from them since then. Been 1.5 months since my SA.

May I clarify with you all I had went for my medical check up on 21 march 2013, and till to date there is no updates. My friend who had went medical check up same day as me already been rejected. Is it high chance of getting into spf?

Semper: from what i know there isn’t a fixed intake. i think they will send people in once they hit the required number for a batch. not sure about it though.

Tmhobenjamin: i heard if you waited for a long time for their reply after your medical, high chance you are selected.

My friend waited for 2 months and 10 days he was notified of been rejected.urs still longi waited for almost 3 mths, but still no news.

Tmhobenjamin: Omg your friend waited for so long before getting rejected ?! I thought they would have informed us within a month from the medical check up. Did you receive any calls from them during this period ? Have you submitted all your documents?

Hey guys... I went for my medical on the 4th of June. I know it will take quite awhile till they reply me but what are the chances of me getting in? N I think I previously was issued a warning letter by the police back in sec Sch. Do u think it will affect anything? I'm a diploma holder btw n just ORD recently.

Hi,sorry for the late reply.Yea,if you have any outstanding documents,please submit it as soon as possible as it may hinder your application progress.As long as you have cleared your medical,then you will be waiting for your reply from SPF.
