Prisons was my 2nd choice and I would be in a dilemma should they offer me a spot 1st... Prisons recruitment seems faster somehow...
yjkeh SG Haha good things are worth waiting… For a while… That being said, prisons starting pay is slightly higher than spf for some reasons
Svkmr SG True... Noticed the $300 disparity... Well maybe, after factoring in the allowances, the gap would be narrowed down quite a bit... My guess is allowances might not be much in prisons? IDK
Miracle_51 SG Svkmr, u also interested with prison officer? What is the reason that prison officer will hv higher pay than spf? By the way, that day after your physical assessment,the senior officer do they tell u how long u will know u r shorlisted?
Svkmr SG Hi miracle_51,Yup. I applied for that too. I don't know why the starting pay is higher in prisons..The officer told me to check for status update in [email protected] portal in 1-2 weeks time.. If it changes to "shortlisted" from "in process" that means we will be moving to the next stage.

Chomeisen SG Hello hello, mine changed to short listed after my interview with the psychologist. Anyway I brought all my leaving certs, including my secondary school ones. I've wrote some of my cca achievements from my secondary sch in my resume, so i guess they needed it to verify or something.
Chloerachel SG I have nothing for them to verify sia. Quite a loser in school hahahahah. My session is this coming Friday. Such a short notice.
