i have company van which i can bring home..jus need to pay for parking n summon..other then tat like servicing,coe,insurance cover by company..takin public do save alot jus tat need to walk n wait fo public transport bt stuck/sit wit other passenger n many more..havin 4 wheel vehicle cant run away fro summon like illegal park exple double yellow,zig zag n parkin hdb didnt use coupon..for me its pay n pay n cost alot to have own 4 wheel vehicle..hw about u guys who have own transport esp car..do u have hard time???tel me ur story n feedback:confuseds:

for me having own transport is good..but traffic jam and waiting q to park( fo limited lot) do kills times fo us?..and i cant take it when the parking is so expensive even for 5 mins??..having bike is cheap n bette rdon need to worry abou parking..i don c parking summon ppl target bike mostly 4 wheel is this fair ?..but bike nvr knw risking gettin into accident haiz

With current COE pricing increase I think the most ideal will be public transport..Now the off peak car below 1600cc with 100% loan. You can easily spend $1000 above which include loan,petrol,maintenance,parking,road tax, insurance and fines or summons...So public transport

used to drive company vehicle in the past and always think that is the best scenerio. save on monthly installment, insurance, petrol, road tax etc. my company even pay for mye house season parking (where for your case this isn't so).

considering paying for house season parking vs $$ spend daily to travel from home to office or office to home, believe the difference is not great.

parking summon: why you need to worry if you display sufficient coupon or park at electronic paying carpark?

illegal parking: just park properly, why worry about illegal parking summon?

even if going out, plan properly if driving is really necessary. places not easily accessible via public transport then drive. parking charges high take public transport.

places difficult to park or need to wait quite long, choose alternative carpark. the most walk a little bit

having a company vehicle become an option, an alternative transport mode.
