If you are a poly or A Levels graduate and you pass your ippt
during your basic training, you will pass out as a SC/CPL
If you do not fulfil the 2 conditions, you pass out as a SC
Postings after your basic training can vary from anything like
frontline roles such as NPC Officers and
Transcom Officers to instructional roles as Fitness Instructors and
staff roles. I think you get to indicate your preferences before
passing out but as always, its subjected to manpower needs.
If OCS is a target for you, just do your
best and try to be the best trainee in your cohort. You have a
chance of making it as you happen to be in 1 of the 2 intakes per
year that upgraders (people who join OCT from
the police mono intake) can join OCT. The
other intake will be that in Jan. If I am not wrong, there should
be 4 positions up for grab since the OCT
squad intake has increased after my cohort.
