ironpeasant SG IMO, good private instructors only is through word of mouth .Those who adverties alot obviously have no business so the need to advertise. try sourcing for good private instructors from your friends

richkid SG i'm a student in SSDC. Your rate is cheap as compared to market price haha but your instructor really sux!! get a change of instructor asap or else you might want to consider joining the school..

Vigelic SG there is a drastic measure you could take. write about him and submit his name to both the LTA and the traffic police. I believe the police will look into the matter since as a PDL, your safety on the road shld be under the instructor's watch and if he falls asleep you can count it as "driving without a valid license" since there is "no (awake) instructor beside you"
Quinsy SG LOL!!! I used to do that! BTW me from that above mentioned centre. THAT DAY THE INSTRUCTOR LOST MY CIRCUIT BOOKING PAPER THEN STILL MADE ME PAY FULL AMOUNT EVEN THOUGH WE ONLY HAD 30 MINUTES OF OFFICIAL LESSON. THE REST OF THE TIME WAS SPEND SEARCHING FOR THE SLIP! HE MADE ME PAY 1.5 HOURS LEH! WTF RIGHT?

melodykoh SG Hmm...I am currently learning driving from a private instructor highly recommended by my friends! He's really patient, good tempered and responsible! He shown me what should not be done with the car, like pulling the handbrake without pressing down the button, turning the steering wheel without moving so as to let me learn from all these mistakes even though it will spoil his car. He said that he's ok with it because this car is for learners so he feel he should let us try that. And doesn't scold when I do the wrong things.
