lol. After the psychometric test and filling up of forms, they gave us a 1 hour break for lunch, den after lunch, back for more form filling, essay writing, taking of height and weight, physical assessment, etc. It ended at abt 4 plus pm for me that time :)

Great to see a thread for the 2011 intake. My selection assessment is on 13 April. Anyone else scheduled for this date?

I see that there is an essay writing segment. What topics have some of you gotten for the essay writing? And how long did it took? Feel like exams all over again. :)

haha thanks momoko! :) seems like no one here is going for tmr's assessment, besides me.. kinda nervous abt it. btw the set of shirt and shorts we're supposed to bring, izit to test our physical fitness? why no need to bring shoes?

Hmm, physical assessment consist of doing some light stretching, some swimming style actions and marching. More like to see your legs, hands corordination, etc. No running etc involved. :)

mentally drained >.< my head feels heavy.. the marching part was a tad funny for me.. cuz i kept thinking about doing it right, it ended up being wrong :P had to stop thinking about it to get it right.
btw when will you know if you're short-listed for the 2nd round?

my selection assessment to dialogue took one month, it could be faster for you. As long as you dun receive any rejection email or anything, should be fine. :)

Not too sure. Cos mine was only changed to shortlisted after first round. These stuffs are done by humans, so i guess is up to them to update. Btw, have u passed your medical? Or?

oh. i thought it will change to shortlisted when the invitation for 1st round was sent. cant rmb mine.

I didnt get through. Status went unsuccessful the day i receive the rejection. Not sure how they update though.

okay thanks! hope it doesn't clash with my fyp submission date >.< but that is if i get shortlisted anyway.
my friends say they can't imagine me as an officer.. i really hope i dun give others, especially the interviewers, that kinda impression..
