No idea, but the last briefing was held last Saturday. Anyway, you can apply direct through SPF website and they will contact you.

You will go down for the briefing, take a test and they will verify your documents (IC, educational background). Takes about half day.

If pass everything, you will be called down for an interview and physical checks. Pass this round, you will go for a full medical checkup.

Pass all 3 rounds, you will be sent for training...

No. It's voluntary, so no bond involved.

Yup. Actually I already went through all the breifing, test and stuff. Now waiting for reply to see whether I am accepted into in. It has been 2 months since the medical checkup which I went.

okay , then i doubt i can get in bah , i got fear of interview. and i dun think they recognise my private diploma. And i got some skin rashes , but i still got a pes B in army. do they see your performance in ns? i already ord btw.

Hey guys, I'm 15, and I've been aspiring to be a PO since young. Guess I got influenced by Crimewatch CSI etc (: Anyway, my secondary sch has been emphasizing alot on careers and I know I want to be a PO so I've got to plan my future now.

I thought of applying to be VSC immediately after taking A levels, so trainings can be during Uni time (: I'm really looking forward to learning unarmed combat and firearms and stuff! However my physical fitness is around average, so I want to know, is the PT during trainings extremely tough? Like, what do we do?

Sorry if I've been sounding as though as if I'm already a VSC haha but I've set my mind on becoming a PO. speaking of that, after I become VSC, can I just switch to PO? Do I have to take more training?

You can switch to become a PO, but no lesser training just because you've been trained before. You will still go through the full training.

Regarding this... assuming you are guy, you must have completed NS and have at least PES B. VSC will not accept any guys who have not completed NS.

If I was shortlisted for an interview, will them give me the medical check up letter on the spot or need to wait for few weeks time?

Only after you passed the interview and physical checks then will you have the medical checkup letter.

Takes about a few weeks to know the results.
