1 of my friend is involved in a minor case with the police.
From what the police say, they are not interested in bringing
the case to court.
But they keep on asking my friend to go down to the police
station to record statement.
When my friend tell them he can't take leave to go down as he is
working and still under probation, the Investigating Officer(IO)
says that he will go down to his workplace to look for him if he
don't come down to the police station and he can lock him up for 48
hours.
What can he do?
If he lodge a police report against him, it will be his collegue
that will handle the complain and being collegues, such a small
case they will definetly help to cover up.
If he complain to MP, MP will just write a letter to the IO boss
who will also help to cover up the case.
