I have a neighbour who has been playing majong till late night
for the last few nights. Due to the late noise of the mahjong, i
called my neighbour NPC to inform them about the matter and my
house location as well. The officer took down my name and number
after i inform them of the noise pollution.
i remember that i called the NPC around 1245am about the matter
and therefore went to sleep .Around 1.25am i received a call from
an police officer asking me about the location of the noise
pollution as they are not able to distinguish where is the noise
pollution. I have two questions to ask-
1. How come I called them at 1245am then only at 1.25am they
arrived at scene? There should some sort of service pledge to meet
time of arrivial at scene right?
2. They called me at 1.25am. The logic is that I would go to
sleep after I made the call because the officer who received the
call did not inform me that any one will be calling me to verifify
anything.
Can serving officers advise the general procedures regarding my
question?
