Seriously , 1 or 2 mths of waiting is nothing la.
I waited for 4 mths after my medical checkup then received the
letter of appointment.
From the selection to the date I was appointed , the whole
process took abt 7 mths.
And I do have a fren whose cousin's application took a year.
Anyone from the force can explain why the process take soooo long?
If the person waited until he/she decides to apply for another job
or takes up another offer of job, then wouldnt it be wasting a LOT
of SPF's resources, by wasting time and effort in interviews,
background checks, medicals, then the letter comes in almost 7-8
months later, where the prospective employee has already gotten a
job and then simply reject SPF's offer????
