Currently I am had graduated from NP and waiting for my
enlistment on the 16 June 2009 to Tekong Camp 1 but I had always
waited to just the police force and planned to sign a 5 years bond.
I submitted my resume a month plus before the enlistment date and
waited for the reply but after a week later I called the SPF
recruitment division and the said they had rececived my resume but
can't process it as it takes about a month and a half for standard
procedures for me to enlist to spf and defer from
army.. I really wanted to join in the police force but I am stuck
with this, there's only 3 more weeks left before my enlistment to
army what can I do to be enlisted into the spf as I really
don't want to waste my 3 months with the army or the coming 2
years.. Pls Advise
You should post this in the SAF section instead.
You have no choice but to go army, and I am pretty sure in this
situation, you will be forced to finish BMT before you can jump
over to SPF.
And you better ask them more about the defer thing. If you are
deferred, not transferred, you will still have to go for NS, just
that it will be at a later time in your life.
