i beg to differs for your para 2... =)
CNB officers do wear uniform when needed.... NOT
allowed to dye hair unless needed... need not carry their
revolver 24/7... but they are issued with one.... they
DO work shift even if not in checkpoints....
as for job nature... both are equally dangerous and working
hours irregular.... it depands on how you see it...
I beg to differ. Like what
a CNB officer told me, CNB sees all the action during a drug bust,
ppl resisting arrest, running away, jump out of window. Police will
only get to see the aftermaths. CNB officers will only wear uniform
during the 6 mths HTA training. NO officers need to return the
police uniform after the 6 mths training ended. I never seen CNb
officers wear uniform before. How to work in uniform? ppl can see u
from miles away.
I still believe CNB
officers risk level is higher than the average PO. Drug addicts and
traffickers are desperate ppl. They will do anything to escape. Dye
hair is allowed but of cos if the officer is under the pubic
education awareness, having dyed hair is not very appropriate.
Shift work for NO is very rare, the official working hours is mon
to fri. But i think the working hrs shld be longer than
that
