is it advisable to sign on for spf?

Hi i am a 17 yrs old , and i receive a letter of notfication from the army to register and i already register it , that letter is only for ppl who are 16 half yrs old , but i alread registered , but i really want to be a regular in spf , and i havent had my medical yet , its on oct , is there any chance that i still can sign on for spf? and is it worth it to sign on for spf?

not sure about the entry level rank though. i have a friend who entered with me using a private dip and he's a sgt. Smile
