Hello, I am an American and will hopefully be traveling to
Singapore within the next year because my girlfriend lives
there...I've asked her stuff about the country but she's a bit of
an "air head" so maybe someone here can help me out.
My main concern is, do you all hate white Americans? When I try
to get a cab will all of them drive by because I'm white? I am not
as skinny as most Asian guys so will I be stared at because you
would consider me huge? Will the locals try to make my time in
Singapore absolutely miserable? Also is Serangoon village
awesome?
The reason I ask is I had a friend that traveled there and he
said racism against whites is common but that was 6-7 years ago.
