vickewl SG anyone here know where i can find a lsit of universities in australia that have degrees that are accepted by the spf? thanks!
ndmmxiaomayi SG http://www.acu.ac.uk/cgi-bin/frameset.pl?ml=membership&sl=membership&select=members There's a dropdown menu over there. You select the country Australia and find the university. If not in, means not accredited.
Augustine SG Hello thanks for the info...RMIT is in the list yippee..... Once i completed degree next year will apply for SPF Senior Officer, Inspector ...to uphold justice, peace law and maintain order. Though starting pay not as high as NTU and NUS graduates.
Augustine SG yup difficult to go into local university NTU and NUS , got to take A levels 2 years straight As, then confirm going to NTU NUS depends on your interest of subjects...then 4 years if Honours......
Archtomato SG Really? Starting salary not the same as local Unis? Any idea whats the diff like? Coz i was thinking of joining after my degree in UOW also. Although to me the starting salary is not that important, I thought degree level is all paid the same? Anyways good luck to u ...
ndmmxiaomayi SG No, poly student. Happen to saw this when surfing SPF's website. But I have no chance of joining. I cannot meet their physical requirements. Too short and underweight.
qazplm SG why dont you try asking the recuitment department or come down to our roadshows? they will be more then glad to answer you on the above question... As different Civil Service have different "recognition" to Universities around the world and also its courses too... so dont be surprise that for the same degree from a certain university will be accepted in SPF and not accepted in SCDF or SAF etc.... cheers
Augustine SG Last weekend i went to their career fair 2006 roadshow, the board shows $2800 senior officer leh? Or do we find out when we go for job interview?
ndmmxiaomayi SG I don't want to peng ding zi. They got state requirements and I still go there try. I go for other jobs.
qazplm SG Dont worry much on weight and height.... they are secondary.... If your interest still in SPF, no harm trying~
