Ermmmmm yep.
It was a MOE recommendations to put up Hon Vs.
Hon Vs are mostly professional in their own right. Or are DMs and
teachers recommended by the MOE.
They are introduced to provide the DM and teachers police powers to
handle difficult students as well to provide a deterrance against
triad/secret societies/drugs & any criminal activities.
Hon V goes thru a much condensed version of training then normal
VSCs and has their training tailored to suit their roles in the
schools.
They however arent your run of the mill POs or NS Man.
Their academic capabilities and rank should tell you so. NO matter
whether they are Hon Vs or not, their rank still means business in
the disciplined organisation and count for no small
responsibilities with our country. So do give them their
dues.
Any DM/teachers who are Hon V and left MOE, are automatically
removed of their Hon V status unless they made other
arrangements.
Of the recent intake of VSC. There was one female teacher Hon V.
She later quit Hon V and re-take normal VSC training and becomes a
full fledged VSC.
Who knows, she might quit VSC and later join SPF? It happens, and
will happen again. We aften have VSC that quit and join SPF as
regs. And the emerging trend shows a lot more professionals doing
that. Resulting in a lot more Inspectors & ASPs that was
previously VSC.
