Meia Gisborn SG Hmmm... I can conceivably see a reason for the permit requirement: it wouldn't be too difficult to paint one of those training guns to make it look like the real thing, at least from a reasonable viewing distance.
LazerLordz SG Those are plastic ones with red plastic parts along the barrel, with lights inside. e.g M4 Carbine. So that no one will mistake it for the real thing.
