anyways, where stopping power is used as an argument, can we at
the same time discuss cartridge type as well? Most semis used for
police work r 9mm Parabellum. Studies have shown that ACPs and
magnums have more stopping power. Revolvers designs have been more
well suited for magnum rounds. While police in sg use .38 SP
rounds, there ARE police forces armed with
.357 revolvers. Then again, semis like the Colt M1911 n IMI Desert Eagle r
chambered for the .45 ACP and the .357 n .44
Magnum rounds respectively, so perhaps police forces could use
these as alternatives. Furthermore to consider, there the newer
rounds like the 10mm and the .50 AE rounds, which would factor into
the argument.
