Is there still a need to maintain a gurkha contingent, now that
we have local matas to handle all sorts of contingencies (such as
the SOC, STAR, etc etc)?
These expats are so seldom called to action, and besides,
maintaining these fellas with their families here ain't
cheap.
They are relics from the British colony days...
