I dont like to waste handphone bills calling ops room... i think the police should change their number to 1900 999... for non-emergency calls must pay 50 cents per minute the officers is there.... for emergency calls is free....

cornyfish2000 SG I think another way to do it is to have another police hotline for non-emergency police assistance, such as call 998 if a tree collapsed and blocked a road for instance. Then the police operator got more time to arrow the appropriate department (police or non-police) to handle the complaint. I know now (or previously) they encourage the public to call the NPP for non-emergency assistance but who can remember all the different numbers for the different NPPs? That's why people call 999 lor.

That lady who found bees in her letter box also thinks her plight is the worse to happen on Earth mah (although that letter box was in her private residence), which at least is true for what I encountered yesterday? Spare us the time to attend to something more "urgent"? If that should happen, she is quite likely to let loose a swarm of bees into my NPC tomorrow and let them sting everyone in there to death.
chunyong SG u in NPC = do saigung until u pi kor ka, nobody can be excused. only way out is to post to orhwice hours in PCC...orhwice hrs in Division/NPC also saigung.
huaiwei SG When we told her that we cannot do anything because it was within her private residence, and adviced her to call the professions (aka pest controlers) for help, her first responce was "How much are they going to charge?" You get the underlying idea.
