the answer to your question unless your father is the prime minister...

NO... you tell them whatever, they cant care a hoot.. if you are interested you can always sign on.. but you must be 18 Very Happy

deathscythe99 SG

Can ah....fill up the recruitment form Cool

flyt0thesky SG

LOL. thanks. so, does that mean i sign on at 18, my NS will be POLICE? Very Happy

wuming78 SG

if u sign on with the police, your ns liability will be included in your service, albeit with a certain ratio, e.g. two days of service = one day of NS.

in any case, if you ever leave service, you will go to police reserve rather than SAF.

flyt0thesky SG

hehe. thanks. i wun leave the police force. gonna serve it till 55yrs old Very Happy
so in other words. signing on is the only way to get into NS POLICE? Mr. Green

wuming78 SG

hm.. you are still young. i wont be so certain and single-minded if i were you. always keep your options open, and have more than one choices. else if anything happens, you will be faced with nothing at all.

but your enthusiasm and eagerness is great! hope that is really your passion and you will grow and excel in it.

Goodness...

Oh well like they said...just sign on when you hit 18. You will definitely be serving your NS in police, but provided your application is completed before SAF calls you up. If it is late...no worries...you just get a taste of SAF pushups for a few days (or weeks)! Very Happy
