paperchicken SG Normal police ok lah. CID and undercover work more dangerous. Irregular hours also. Difficult for family men with young children.
kopiosatu SG every job has its dangers but please lah... what can be so stressful to the family????? its not like you're on a street filled with gangs armed to their teeth
paperchicken SG The streets are safe of course. But its different when you need to go to the gang's turf to do investigation and undercover work. Most of the time the officers without good paper qualification will volunteer to improve their chances of promotion.
kopiosatu SG which brings me to, every job has its dangers, but not such a dangerous job in singapore that it will cause any stress to the family. maybe to the guy himself more like it.
chunyong SG Secret Society Branch GSB = Gambling Suppresion got others lah but unless their initials are mentioned here, else i won't say.
chunyong SG some sub-units not mentioned in public domain or spf.gov.sg so i don't mention loh. not really OSA lah. like GSB is not really mentioend since it is under CID.
huaiwei SG So they got another secret branches not publicised eh? I remember the SAF's SOF is supposed to be "Secret"...but long before they made it public, half the folks in Singapore already know of their existance anyway.
