Bontakun SG

OCTs, in Police learn more den typical PNSF, but they add in da pattern of BMT stuffs lah... so they r more garang den any1 else.

For da $$$ I love to be NSPI... but I m not. I juz wanna end it soon... 5 more mths...

danielle0309 SG

um, what does OCT stand for? Re the training, wat aspects of bmt is included? =)

Alva Noto SG

OCT = Officer Cadet Trainee?

danielle0309 SG

anyway am interested in knowing wat sort of training OCTs undergo besides the running and swimming? e.g. confidence jumps from 2 storeys high (like npcc), obstacle courses, is there camping and stuff like tt?

~boo~ SG

stem_-_daimyou_asobi_hen SG

doghouse837 SG

i heard that the ppl from OCT are those from army
cause they have too much manpower and no place to hold them
then dump them to police loh

qazplm SG

qazplm SG

qazplm SG

its not senior officer~ they are still PNSF~ rank will be NSPI which draw a pay about 1K monthly.... Mr. Green

~boo~ SG

but arent they still senior officers??? i mean their rank is inspector liao rite?

Bontakun SG

I wished... NOT! Twisted Evil

ORDing in 4mths ++++

Bontakun SG

Da standard from wat I noe from my fwens in ARMY...

OCTs = 3mths in BMT in tekong. Den all chopped & listed to diff areas (OCS, OCTs, Sispec, MP, etc, etc). When goin for OCS or OCT coz, 9 more mths... in police terms for PNSF, its OCTs. Once posted out from police (1 yr in NS), they r called NSI. Den for "god noes how long", they rise rank to NSPI & draw $1K++...

Their rank is no diff from a typical Police inspector OR army Lieutenant (pronounced LEFT-tenant). BUT they finish service faster than a normal inspector lah (U noe wat I mean lah, guys...)

Some more MOST NSPIs r on NS sides, I noe for my area, ALL NSPIs r wif us. Thus no stabbin or power corrupt or watever U wanna call lah...
