Whistar SG Was wondering.....how good are your recognition abilities? Sometimes I can recognise someone even though I have only seen him/her once...other times.....I cant recognise a person though I have seen him/her like 3-4 times... Sometimes some pple smile at me....I will smile back....but i dun remember if i know them...or dun remember when I got to know them.... Now am i getting old......memory is failing me How about u all? Any similar experiences??
Whistar SG u vaguely remember everyone u see or just some?? I can rem some pple v well....but not others.......maybe some pple have more unique look????? Dunno how my brain works
wuming78 SG means after meeting a person once, if i see him/her again, i will prob only vaguely remember seeing the person. usually unable to remember anything more than tt.

coolger03 SG i got selective memory… only want to remember those ppl i want to remember… or the very outstanding ppl… but then if compare face and name, will tend to remember face easier….

Yunhaier SG I quite good at recognising faces. As for names... I usually give people nickname, so I remember by the names I give, not by their actual names. Cheers

on tenterhooks SG I often find myself in a situation where recognise the face but not the name. and i've this bad habit of trying to remember the person's name thereafter...even days later?? Gosh! I hate that....i tak kum wan that i actually forget the person's name.
