Operational Exercise at Woodlands Train Checkpoint
The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF), the Singapore
Police Force (SPF) and Immigration and Checkpoints Authority of
Singapore (ICA) will be conducting an operational exercise at
Woodlands Train Checkpoint, 11 Woodlands Crossing,
on Thursday, 9 February 2012. The exercise will
begin at 11.30pm and end at about
3.00am on 10 February 2012.
Such exercises are part of the various agencies
on-going efforts to validate and update operational plans and
procedures. In total, about 150 personnel and about 25 emergency
and supporting vehicles will be participating in the exercise.
All operational vehicles participating in the exercise
will have their beacon lights turned on to alert motorists.
Exercise signages will also be placed at prominent locations to
keep members of public informed of the exercise.
The public is advised not to be alarmed.
