A spokesperson for the SCDF said:
"The SCDF received a call at 2.56am today (Jan 13). The exact
location was at Block S14, at No. 10 Science Drive 4.
"The SCDF sent two fire engines, one Red Rhino, two fire bikes, one
ambulance and five support vehicles.
"When we arrived, we saw the the fire was inside a biomedical
laboratory and used three water jets to extinguish the fire.
"An area of 10 x 5 metres and the ceiling in the laboratory was
affected.
"There were no injuries."
