THE Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) will be conducting an
operational exercise at Causeway Point on Wednesday (Feb 23).
The exercise will begin at 1.30am and end at 4am.
The exercise area will also include the Woodlands Regional Bus
Interchange and the Woodlands MRT station.
These exercises are part of SCDF's ongoing efforts to validate
and update operational plans and procedures. In total, about 100
personnel and about 30 emergency and support vehicles will be
participating in this exercise.
All SCDF vehicles participating in this exercise will have their
beacon lights turned on to alert motorists. Exercise signages will
also be placed at prominent locations to keep members of the public
informed of the exercise.
The SCDF has advised the public not to be alarmed.
