SINGAPORE : Some 200 shoppers and tenants were evacuated
after a fire broke out in one of the units at Eastpoint Mall on
Monday afternoon.
The fire broke out at a BBQ table at Hans River restaurant
at about 3pm.
Firefighters put out the fire in less than 10 minutes.
No one was injured.
Business has resumed in some units at the mall.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force is investigating the
incident.
