Hi, im enlisting on apr 7 to SCDF. And i have to undergo a 7 week modified BMT.
And my medical status says C2/L9 temp for 6 months.(im having skin allergies, White spot.)
I have some questions.

1. Where would i be posted to upon enlistment?

2. What would happen to me after 6months?

PES C - Fit for some operational vocations

PES C2 - Do not have to take IPPT except Regulars who are required to take Alternative Aerobic Fitness Test (AAFT)

L9 - Suitable for peacetime sedentary duties at Bases. Not fit for operational duties even in Bases

Yea i know that part.

What would mostly likely be my positions in NS?

Thanks.

most likely some admin stuffs..

From what I've seen in my batch, I think all the pes C2s and C9s got admin vocations. I can't be 100% sure though because I don't know everyone.

Your life in BRTC will however be relatively easy so have fun and enjoy every moment because it'll end before you know it. I feel like I enlisted just yesterday but now I find myself ensuring that every cup of coffee I make is consistent...

glad to hear that..

so you got a vocation yet..

Yup, I've been transferred to SO Mess at HQ and I really hope to earn my place there and perhaps one day learn to cook better food hehe.

yes, you're able to upgrade your pes status..

it depends on the MO..

the highest you're promoted to will be corporal..

Lincoln2405 SG

QX179R SG

if your pes gets upgraded to A or B then of coz not..

Lincoln2405 SG

icic. so if i get upgraded, i need to go thru bmt again?

QX179R SG

depends on when your pes gets upgraded..

Lincoln2405 SG

oh ic. i hope the chances of me staying in pes c is higher aft 6months. lol..

QX179R SG

why would you want to stay with pes c..

upgrading to pes a or b would be a better option..
