combat medics are experienced ok...hehe...heard alot of stories from my fren who was a combat medic but i dont think should be put here..... Smile

ben1406 SG

Compare em to SCDF's Paramedics.. Who would have more experience ?

sidestep1984 SG

of course SCDF arh...the fact to the matter is...theyre important as they are needed....whether wartime or peacetime....

dumbdumb! SG

hey, screw u. i didn't imply anything, so hostile for what? just hope its gonna be good in scdf. have a good experience there. Confused

ben1406 SG

The way u guys put it in words just doesnt sound right ! It just sounds like you are putting SCDF as a org down ! "How come i keena civil defence ?" By saying that you are implying that SAF is a much more better Org because they take in poly and a level holders !

Don't screw me ! I'm offended by everyone's fews on SCDF. Trust me ! After enlisting in SCDF, u'll know how i felt ! Esp on Chinese New Year when your relatives ask you where are u enlisting into !

I'm sorry if i was a tat hostile ! Do forgive me..

ben1406 SG

Don't worry ! If u r pes b and u intend to go all the way ! u'll might be able to make it into the ERS course ! Pay is good, work load is good & you'll get pretty alot of exp when you turn out for fire calls !

All in all, you'll have a great time there as long as your not a racist !

dumbdumb! SG

actually i kinda like being posted to civil defence. i did get a few looks by friends when i said i was in civil. shrugs

i guess its more meaningful la.. search and rescue Mr. Green

were u able to get along with the malays though? that's kinda my main concern

whats ERS?

sidestep1984 SG

Emergency Rescue Specialist....

Malays...easy to please....u try and be laid back arh.....hehe..take it from me...i'm malay....but i'm somehow not a laidback person but a serious one...so i guess that explains my lack of malay frens.....LoL...but i guess u should just be ureself....

dumbdumb! SG

aiya.. the pay oso is only 500 rite..

sidestep1984 SG

nsf pay pretty standard wat

dumbdumb! SG

ben said pay good mah Sad

sidestep1984 SG

i think he's referring to hazard pay and allowance over wat they give u...or regular pay

Hocus Pocus SG

Pay i think can reach 750 wafter taking a few courses…quite decent.

ben1406 SG

Get used to those looks mate ! Really ! I donno why a chinese can't get posted into SCDF without having those eyes ! Sickening !

Oh really ! It is meaningful mate ! I felt great after putting out a fire @ a petrol kiosk after my duty !

ben1406 SG

Oh yes ! If you become a ERS, u can hit up to around $900 if you are posted to a fire station !
