i will say dat both of u r still very young .. long more way to
go. renting a room or house at this stage is not something either
one of u should consider at this moment as there's many other
things that u all need to go through. the money for the rent better
use for more important usage like further studies or emergency
cases. what i think is both of u still got no savings (or not much
savings yet) and i would advise u both to save money first. i give
scenario ...
1. no savings (or little savings) - rent room / house, have to
think on how to pay for rent every month. eventhough got job but
how stable is that job to provide u with stable income? in case
have emergency incidents, how to cope? will u use ur salary first?
den when month end, where to find money to pay rent?
2. plenty of savings - rent room / house, don't need to worry
about can't afford rental. instead, can put downpayment for own
house and can rent ur extra rooms for additional income. u'll be
surprised that u will end up earning from collecting rental money
instead of paying ur monthly house payment.
Simple say, there's many more things u both need to do. think
carefully before moving out of family house and stay together.
one last piece of advice ... u both r still too young. in case
if u both rent a room n stay together without any savings or proper
planning, what if u get pregnant? can u both afford to raise
another life?
