Job Responsibilities:
•Accountable for preparing and plotting survey data/plan using
computer-aided software (AutoCAD)
•Assists in preparing tender, construction, as-built and shop
drawings
•Performs other duties as assigned
•The successful candidate for the captioned post shall be part of a
team of design engineers working on the design of precast
reinforced concrete elements, large civil engineering structures,
alternative design and temporary works, to write method statements
and to prepare technical specifications.
•He or she should be a team player, reporting to the Chief
Engineer.
•Besides the day to day design work, the person will have to
supervise the team of computer drafting staff.
•When required the person shall be on-site to support the project
team
Requirements:
Prefer Singaporean or PR
• The candidate should hold a Bachelor Degree, or higher, in civil
engineering from a recognized university.
• Those whose university degree is not from an accredited
university, as defined by Singapore Public Service Division and
acceptable to the PE Board, need not apply.
• The candidate need not be a registered Professional Engineer in
Singapore but should be eligible to apply for it in due course of
his or her career.
• Candidates should have at least 2 years of post-graduate working
experience, of which at least 1 year is in civil engineering design
office or on construction site.
