Hi!
I'm a final year
student from NTU's Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and
Information, and I'm producing a 20min
student film this
December.
Even though this
is a student film, we will be
employing professional actors,
crew and equipment and now, we're
currently looking for
actors to fill in
as minor roles and
extras.
I'm sorry to say
that we won't be able to
pay the actors for these roles but we'll be providing
refreshments on shoot and our eternal thanks.
Anybody who's
interested in getting a peek behind the scenes of a film set or
gain some production experience is more than welcome to take
part!
We're looking
for actors to play:
1.
Weng, male, aged 12 -
14
Weng looks like
an ah beng but he is actually
a good Catholic boy with an abusive father. He is central to our
main theme, so although he's a silent character, he can be
considered extremely important.
Shooting on:
19th Dec, 9am to 11am
2. Weng's
father, aged 40 - 55
Weng's father is
an ah beng who is violent and
abusive.
Shoot dates:
19th Dec, 10am to 11am
For actors in
the above two roles, we will provide a DVD of the final film for
your own use or for use in your portfolio.
OR, for
everybody else, we also
need Extras:
On 22nd
December, 11am to 1pm,
we will be shooting a major scene in
a St. Teresa's Church, near
Bugis MRT station. We need a large congregation to fill the church
and we're open to anyone joining us!
