I am a researcher by profession. I hold a PhD in media and
cultural studies, and presently I am conducting research on 'The
Role of Lifestyle Television in Singapore'. This part of a bigger
comparative study. We are interested in engaging with how lifestyle
television (mostly, the programs on Chanel 5 and 8) contribute in
constructing social, cultural and political identities.
I am seeking individuals who want to discuss on these matters
and be part of the project. Annonymity and confidentiality will be
assured, if desired so. The personal, one-to-one, interviews will
last 60-90 minutes, and for your time and opinions we will be happy
to spot a meal, buy coffee, a token gift or a book voucher. We
cannot offer cash. This is an academic, and not a media research
study.
