Depends on the school.

do u happen to know if ACSI, ACJC, SAJC have these policies .. those are the top three i long to go

Sandy17sandy17 SG

Permed hair is /not/ allowed
The shoe rule is more flexible. Any color is fine but slippers are not allowed.

Uraniumfish SG

I know SRJC and YJC you can wear slippers all around school, they are quite loose on attire. (and education, haha)

Sandy17sandy17 SG

Oh gosh. Slippers are not allowed in poly but allowed in JC?

Sandy17sandy17 SG

Its best for you to go for the various JC open houses and ask them these questions.
You can google the timings online.

if i go to get my result slip with my permed hair...they wont kick me out right? hahaha

JC doesnt start til feb i dont want to straigten it soon...

Sandy17sandy17 SG

Not considering poly at all?Which JC are you aiming for?

pikachika SG

yep not considering Poly because i dont really have which courses i want to to take in mind...i think it is better for me to keep studying in JC until i have a clear thought of what i would like to pursue in the future.

although i didnt recieve my olvl results yet,, im aiming for ACSI, ACJC or SAJC

Sandy17sandy17 SG

I like ACJC < 3

Hey TS! First of all congrats on finishing your Os! I'm currently a student at ACJC and I'm very glad that you've chosen my school as one of your choices. You will definitely not regret that decision! To answer your question, shoes must be at least 50% white. Its an old tradition of the school to wear white shoes and only recently did they allow for more colours. As for perms, I'm not really sure, but the usual school rules with regards to hair should apply. If you want to find out more, just come to our Open House on the 9th on Wednesday. I'm sure all your queries will be answered there. Last but not least, I wish you all the best for the O level results and hope to see you become part of the AC family!
