Hairstylist ?

Hey everyone ! I'm new here and I'm hoping some of the people here would be able to answer my questions :)

Im 16 this year taking my N levels and would like to be a hair stylist in future, therefore I have a a couple of questions.

If I were to be a hairstylist , what would be the route I should take? How should i go about doing it? Like what should I do after completing my ITE course? Experienced stylists please guide me.

The other question would be what kind of salary should I be expecting from junior stylist and so on? Will taking up more advanced hairstyling courses affect my salary a lot?

I think hairstylist earn very little. Only option is that you open the saloon yourself, then different story.

I heard about the low salary , plan to work my way up. But really , exactly how much is low? Really need help from experienced stylists or those that have hairstylists as friends

low means around $1k-$1.5k. I know because sometimes cutting hair, I chatted with them. i mean if they can accept such low salary, that means competition very tough unless you're a standout then different story.
