I been thinking a lot and I've decided to leave my job. Problem
is Im still looking out for jobs. But my manager has been treated
me very badly and he is giving me difficulties on purpose. He has
an ego issue. So Im left with no choice but to leave before things
got worse like I lose my cool and then get fired.
So my point is, if I lie to them Im leaving as I got a new job,
will they found out and will it matter to them? My company conducts
exit interview for staffs who are leaving. My HR will definitely
know I lied cuz no company has called in for reference on me. So
what do I do? My manager is one immature and petty individual who
holds grudges against me and he admits that.
I definitely wont state anything negative in my resignation
letter.
just tender resignation. say seeking a better job opportunity
elsewhere. Hr cannot probe into whether you already get a job
already or not. the is a border line to draw and you can choice not
to disclose any information you deem no fitting to your own cause.
as long as you write that letter, fulfil the notice period, then
say bye bye. for exit interview just write as the reason you state
in your letter. exit interview is for hr to monitor manpower
movement and reasoins for leaving so that they can improve on their
operating standards or so.
we here don;t know your manager really. but judging from your
write and query here asking about whether to tell hr you are hired
already or get a new job or not already proves that you syill have
a very green mindset. probably just started working. if you have
been working for very long i think you may not be holding a higher
position. won;t be asking questions like these.
