I am here to share with you bros my horrifying shopping
experience with Groupon and to raise an important question:
Does Groupon sell out more coupons than the amount of goods in
stock and simply offer a refund to those who they cannot deliver
to?
On the 10th of Sept 2012, I went to Groupon's store at Suntec
Mall to collect an item I bought from groupon.
But I was told that the item I wanted to collect was currently
out of stock even though full payment had already been made and the
voucher had not yet expired.
The person in charged told me that it will be delivered to me
within a few weeks.
A month later, I still had not received my item as promised. I
called Groupon and was told that they would expedite the delivery
for me.
More than a week after the call I still have not received my
item. I then emailed groupon and the reply was that
I will receive my item within 3-5 days. But I will be flying off
within that period and I called to Groupon again.
The person on the phone told me that I will receive my item as
soon as I am back to in Singapore. On top of that she said Groupon
will credit a $10 credit to my account out of "goodwill".
It has since been two months, yet I still have not received my
item. The only thing I got was empty promises
I emailed Groupon and was told that MY item was out of stock. On
top of that, the "goodwill" $10 credit was not reflected on my
account.
[B]Please take some time to read through the exchange of emails
from the screenshots attached to have a clearer picture of what I
have been going through.[/B]
I hope you guys can also help spread this word to your friends
and family members to prevent this from happening to them too.

The agony of waiting and being lied to several times by
Groupon's customer service officers cannot be simply expressed by
these few words.
