They claim that the government subsidies up to 90% of the SPUR
courses but I think that is bullshit.
For example, a diploma in social service which lasts for 3
months, the full course fee is around 10k. After the 90% subsidy,
you end up paying around 1k.
This is even more expensive that pte schools lor. You can easily
attent a pte school for 1 year to get their diploma which costs
around 5k a year only.
From what I see, the WDA course fee is not subsidised at all.
Like the original price is already 1k for a 3 month course but the
school claim that the original price is 10k and after subsidy you
only pay 1k to psycho you into joining the course.
Another example is the 3 day WSQ Plan
Content for Web & Multimedia Products.
It claims the orginal price is S$3,234.61.
After subsidy you pay only $323.46
From what I see this is bullshit.
How can a 3 day course cost $3k?
Totally nonsense. I think the course fee is only $323 but they
bullshit that its $3k and after subsidy you pay only $300..
