country of birth written in passport and IC consider Singapore or
Malaysia?
In Malaysia, a lot of foreigners give birth in malaysia and abandon
their babies. Even that these babies are considered aliens with no
citizenship status.
So if you are vying for malaysian citizenship on the basis of
your birth here, forget it.
The only way you can be malaysian is that your father must be
malaysian and he must register you at the hospital at birth.
If your mother is malaysian but your father is foreigner, you
will not get the malaysian citizenship.
This applies to chinese and indians.
