Male Receptionist

Have you ever seen a Male Receptionist before?

I have never seen a male receptionist before..which makes me think this is gender bias..

Guys also can be receptionist and can do customer service job too but companies don't want to give them a chance..

Go to Ion.

Can see a lot of male information counter staff.

i talking about the receptionist that sits at the entrance of the office lah..

Because you never seen, does not mean there never was any male receptionist sitting at the front of the office.

Only you think there is a discrimination against the gender in certain jobs.

Let me put in simply.

Exxon mobile has.

Insurance firms has.

Arm forces has.

Home teams has.

Companies in Singapore and all over the world has.

Males as receptionists.

It's common actually.

If you broaden the definition of receptionists, you will see more of them at bus interchanges and MRT control stations too....
