Weird SMSes

i keep receiving weird smses.

a few from dbs regarding transactions done on my ibanking account which i did not do. (already inform the bank to check).

an sms from someone who told me to buy charcoal for barbecue.

another saying he is sick and cant tutor for a boy.

and many others.

i wonder if there is a glitch in the service provider’s sms system resulting in all this rubbish coming to my cell phone.

go tell your bank what is going on..

someone may have given your mobile phone number to them in place of his own, or the bank may have messed up with your number..

as for the other, maybe the telco was reusing phone numbers that were cut off for one reason or another, laid there "dead" for a long time so they reissued it

dbs checked and confirmed there is nothing wrong.

i called the service provider and according to them it happens to some customers with multi sim card. said they will refresh whatever it is and expect the problem to be solved within 2 working days.

and everyday got fone calls personal sms (incl want play badminton together?, cannot meet this Sat, which sch u posted to.....????)
and of cos those buy condo, aircon servicing spams

This is strange, cos normally you do not receive wierd sms like these. These does not even look like some corperate spam.
